Bauer Rush Week is the 2nd week of the semester. All Bauer student organizations set up in the Back drum and showcase what they have to offer to students. Be sure to stop by out booth to meet some of the officers. Due to Covid, Rush Week will be held online. |

Workshops
Tuesdays, 5 times per semester
4:30 PM - 6 PM Location Varies (Zoom) At our workshops, we teach our students about the technical aspects of the industry, from basic terms to real estate financial modeling. We also help to develop our members' interpersonal skills through networking & interview workshops. |
Guest Speakers

4:30 PM - 6 PM Location Varies (Zoom) We bring in various industry professionals each semester from every corner of the industry to speak to students. They share their experiences and provide advice on how to break into the industry from college. Past speakers have included property managers, appraisers, developers, brokers, acquisitions associates, private equity professionals, and entrepreneurs. |
Commercial Real Estate Property Tours
Fridays/Saturdays, 3 times per semester
Time Varies Location Varies As an organization, we are able to go directly to developments, tour the property, & learn about the asset from a development/investment perspective. URES have been fortunate to tour prominent developments & buildings in the Houston area, including 609 Main Street, Market Square Tower, the Arabella, and J.P. Morgan Chase Tower. |
Office Visits

Time Varies Location Varies Few organizations have the resources to reach out to professionals and bring members to them. Through the Bauer Real Estate Program, we facilitate meetings between our students and prominent firms in the industry for educational and recruitment purposes. |
Co-Hosted Events
We occasionally co-host events with the Investment Banking Scholars Club, another finance-focused student organization with whom we have strong relations with.
