Eligibility

As a business student organization, membership is always open to students in the C.T. Bauer College of Business, regardless of your declared major or status as a pre-business student.

Due to the nature of our industry, we feel as though other majors will significantly benefit from what we have to offer.

Membership is also open to:

  1. Economics majors in the college of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
  2. Mathematics majors in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
  3. Hotel and Restaurant Management majors in the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management

All other UH students who are interested in joining the Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Regardless of your student status, if you are even slightly interested in what the Commercial Real Estate industry has to offer in terms of a career path, professional development, or personal growth, please attend one of our info sessions (2 hosted at the beginning of each semester). We welcome you!

Dues

We cooperate with the Bauer Real Estate Program, and they provide us with numerous resources for our orgnaization to take full advantage of. As of Fall 2019, dues are $0.

Take full advantage of what our organization has to offer. Learn about Commercial Real Estate and see for yourself if this is the industry for you. You've got nothing to lose.

Registration

To join URES, the steps were:

  1. Go to AccessUH - Get Involved - URES
  2. Click "Join" in the upper right corner of the webpage
  3. Then, attend one of our info sessions (2 hosted at the beginning of each semester) and we will officially add you to our roster

Unable to attend either info sessions? Not a problem. In addition to signing up on our Get Involved page, email our Member Relations officer and include your name, major, and intention to join URES.
We'll then work with you to schedule a time to have a 1-on-1 chat with one of our officers.
